A Result of The Fall? You decide!

My poor Pear tree fell prey to a nasty little disease called fireblight,(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire_blight) which is very common in Roses, apples and pears which is transmitted through the blossoms by our pollinators, Bees and other insects. . Left untreated it will slowly destroy your entire tree leaving behind a charred/burnt looking tree, thus the name fireblight......the cure???
before too much damgage has occured you can stop the spread of fireblight by cutting off the infected leaves and branches, being very contagious and easily spread to other plants, be sure to clean and disinfect your pruning shears after each cut, so not to spread it to other parts of your tree. You can use what ever you feel is safe, but I like using just a solution of soap, water and vinegar, works great and is all natural.
The end result is a healthy looking tree, Hopefully if was enough to save it.

TGIF

Thank God Its Friday. All across the entire country that phrase is being uttered as an athem to another work week gone by. But I say Thank God it’s Saturday, Thank God it’s Sunday, etc etc. Give thanks to God in all things, or in this case everday, Why? Because life is fragile and precious and He is worthy of our thanks, and not just on Friday.
1 Thessalonians 5:18"In everything give thanks for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

Making Memories Meaningful

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the church to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Ephesians 5:25-27

Ready for a night out on the town

So about 2 months ago I decided to start dating my wife, we have a standing date every other Thursday, and I must say it has Been one of the best decisions I have made. It gives us that needed time alone to get away and reflect on life, but more importantly it gives my homeschooling wife that needed time away from the stresses of managing a home. My wife has stated that having a standing date gives her something to look forward too, as well as getting a chance to get dressed up and wear some of those clothes you never get a chance to wear cause you're afraid of tiny cheesy fingers always touching you. (I love all my cheesy fingers mind you,) It gives me the chance to love my wife as Christ has loved the Church.
A Peaceful Evening
